Please bring only the amount of food you think your pet will need.

Food should be placed in an airtight container such as baggies, labeled with your pet's name and your last name.

We do not have storage space for large bags of food.

MAY I BRING MY PET'S TOYS AND BED?

We are not responsible for lost or destroyed toys and bedding.

We provide bedding for every pet. You may bring un-stuffed bedding if it is machine washable and labeled with permanent ink with your pet's name and your last name. Foam or stuffed pillows or beds of any kind are NOT accepted.

Personal toys are allowed but are limited to two per pet.

WHAT IF MY PET REQUIRES MEDICATION?

Medications that can be mixed in with food or that your dog will willingly eat will be administered at no additional charge. All other medications, including eye drops and ear treatments will incur an additional charge of $1.00 per dose.

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT VACCINATIONS MY PET HAS HAD?

Your veterinarian should give you a receipt or certificate showing what vaccinations have been administered, the date they were given and the date they expire.

Please bring a copy with you and we will make a copy for our records. There are no exceptions to our vaccine policy.

Current Vaccinations required are found on our Dog Boarding page and Cat Boarding page.

All pets are required to be de-flea'd upon entering the kennel.

WHAT IS CAPSTAR?

Capstar is an oral tablet for the treatment of flea infestations on dogs and cats. Capstar contains the compound Nitenpyram. Nitenpyram interferes with fleas' neurotransmission, killing them very quickly.

HOW QUICKLY DOES CAPSTAR WORK?

Capstar begins to work within 30 mintues. In clinical studies, Capstar achieved greater than 90% effectiveness against adult fleas within 4 hours on dogs and 6 hours on cats.

HOW LONG WILL CAPSTAR LAST?

Capstar is a short-duration flea adulticide. It does not prevent fleas from returning. A single dose of Capstar should kill the adult fleas on the pet. If the pet gets reinfested, it is safe to give another dose as often as once per day.

HOW IS CAPSTAR DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FLEA PRODUCTS?

Capstar is the fastest flea relief that does not leave pesticide residue on the pet or in the home. Unlike topicals that can take up to 24 hours to become effective, Capstar begins working within just 30 minutes.

IS CAPSTAR SAFE?

Capstar has a remarkable safety profile. No adverse reactions were reported in controlled studies with exposures 10 times the recommended dose. It is safe for pregnant and nursing animals.

HOW OFTEN CAN DOGS AND CATS USE CAPSTAR?

A single dose of Capstar should kill the adult fleas on the pet. If the pet gets reinfested with fleas, it is safe to give another dose as often as once per day.

CAN CAPSTAR BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER PRODUCTS?

Yes. Capstar tablets may be used with other products, including heartworm preventatives, corticosteroids, antibiotics, vaccines, de-worming medications, lufenuron and shampoos.
